Texas High School Basketball - High Island ripped by Zavalla

The Zavalla Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting High Island Cardinals to 33 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goodrich for a 1A Region IV District 28 contest on Friday, February 9.
The Cardinals (9-19) will now prepare for their contest against Brookeland (Brookeland, TX). The Wildcats enter the 1A Region IV District 28 contest with a 24-7 record. In their last contest, Brookeland triumphed over Leggett (Leggett, TX), 68-43, in a league contest.
