The Southern Lee Cavaliers topped the host Hoke County Bucks basketball team by a tally of 61-53 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Cavaliers now possess a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Pines for a 3A/4A Sandhills battle on Tuesday, February 13. Southern Lee will battle a Vikings team coming off a 54-49 league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 10-11.

The Bucks (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Vikings come into the 3A/4A Sandhills battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Union Pines dropped by Richmond (Rockingham, NC), 102-64, in a league battle.
