The South Bulldogs basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Independence 76ers to 40 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West for a Columbus City - South contest on Friday, February 9. South will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 88-71 league loss to Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH). The Cowboys record now stands at 9-11.
The 76ers (0-19) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH). The Scots come into the Columbus City - South contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Walnut Ridge triumphed over West (Columbus, OH), 88-71, in a league contest.
