Delaware High School Basketball - Indian River overwhelmed by Laurel

The Laurel Bulldogs basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Indian River Indians to 27 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delmar for a Henlopen - Southern contest on Thursday, February 8. Laurel will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 69-24 league win over Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
The Indians (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Early College (Dover, DE). The Hornets come into the Henlopen - Southern contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Early College triumphed over Lake Forest (Felton, DE), 49-46, in a league contest.
