The Iowa City Little Hawks basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Jefferson Hawks to 65 in the Little Hawks league victory on Tuesday.
The Little Hawks now sport a 9-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waterloo West for a Mississippi Valley contest on Thursday, February 8. Iowa City will battle a Wahawks team coming off a 58-50 league loss to Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA). The Wahawks record now stands at 5-14.
The Hawks (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints come into the contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Xavier dropped by Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA), 71-63, in a league contest.
