The Eagles come into the contest with a 20-12 record after their 60-26 league win over Itasca (Itasca, TX).

The Eagles (9-20) will now prepare for their contest against Frost (Frost, TX). The Polar Bears come into the 2A Region II District 12 contest with a 11-20 record. In their last contest, Frost dropped by Hamilton (Hamilton, TX), 63-49, in a league contest.
