Georgia High School Basketball - Savannah Classical Academy ripped by Jenkins County

February 6, 2024: Millen, GA 30442

The Jenkins County War Eagles basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting Savannah Classical Academy Spartans to 28 in the War Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The War Eagles now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host McIntosh County Academy for a A D2 Region 3 contest on Wednesday, February 7. Jenkins County will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 69-28 non-league win over Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 14-8.

The Spartans (2-19) will now prepare for their contest against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Bulldogs enter the A D2 Region 3 contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Emanuel County Institute triumphed over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA), 63-62, in a league contest.
