The Keene Chargers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host West Trojans to 34 in the Chargers league victory on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 18-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clifton for a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, February 9. Keene will battle a Cubs team coming off a 74-64 league loss to Maypearl (Maypearl, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 20-10.
The Trojans (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Zebras come into the 3A Region III District 17 contest with a 14-15 record. In their last contest, Grandview was routed by Whitney (Whitney, TX), 75-56, in a league contest.
