The NorthPointe Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Kelloggsville Rockets to 58 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sparta for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest on Friday, February 9. NorthPointe Christian will meet a Spartans team coming off a 70-40 league win over Hopkins (Hopkins, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 11-6.

The Rockets (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Hopkins, MI). The Vikings enter the Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Hopkins was nudged by Sparta (Sparta, MI), 70-40, in a league contest.
