Primero Bulldogs (Weston, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Kim/Branson Mustangs (Kim, CO), 56-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Primero upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Manzanola (Manzanola, CO) to clash with the Bobcats in a 1A Fishers Peak bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Manzanola lost 56-24 in their recent non-league bout against Springfield (Springfield, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Granada Bobcats (Granada, CO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Kim/Branson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 56-48 non-league win over Walsh (Walsh, CO).
