In Tuesday's league outing, the Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY), by a margin of 73-44.

The Knights (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Riders go into the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Ichabod Crane was trounced by Catholic Central (Troy, NY), 90-58, in a league outing.

The Sabres now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Catholic Central for a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot outing on Tuesday, February 13. Schalmont will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 82-52 non-league win over La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 18-1.
