Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL), 63-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Libertyville upgrades its record to 9-17 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to play the Patriots in a North Suburban bout on Friday, February 9. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 18-8. Stevenson won 66-43 in their recent league bout against Waukegan (Waukegan, IL)

Next up, the Zee-Bees face the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a North Suburban game, on Friday, February 9. Zion-Benton will attempt to move on its 2-19 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 25-4 record after their 57-39 league win over Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL).
