Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA), 43-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ottumwa upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Ames (Ames, IA) to play the Little Cyclones in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Little Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Ames won 64-25 in their recent league bout against Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA)

Next up, the Railsplitters play the Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, February 9. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
