Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), 92-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lyon County upgrades its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Lyons host Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY) to play the Purples in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Purples come into the bout with a record of 21-4.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Dawson Springs Panthers (Dawson Springs, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Trigg County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 13-10 record after their 94-89 non-league win over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY).
