The Maple River Eagles basketball team (Mapleton, MN), dropped 55-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN)
The Rebels now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenyon-Wanamingo for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 8. United South Central will battle a Knights team coming off a 62-55 non-league win over Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN). The Knights record now stands at 14-11.
The Eagles (16-22) will now prepare for their battle against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Panthers come into the AA Section 2 battle with a 3-20 record.
