With the win, Mt. Vernon upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Hollister (Hollister, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a Big 8 bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-16. Hollister lost 75-36 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Missouri RUSH (Springfield, MO)
