Oregon High School Basketball - Mazama can't hold off Phoenix

The Phoenix Pirates basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Mazama Vikings to 52 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Klamath Union for a 4A Skyline game on Tuesday, February 6. Phoenix will face a Pelicans team coming off a 77-60 league loss to Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Pelicans record now stands at 6-11.
With the defeat, Mazama moves to 3-15 on the year. The Vikings host Henley (Klamath Falls, OR) to face the Hornets in a 4A Skyline game on Friday, February 9. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 11-8. Henley lost 59-49 in their recent league game against Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR)
