The Midlakes Screaming Eagles basketball team (Clifton Springs, NY), was overwhelmed 87-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY)
The Eagles now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East battle on Friday, February 9. Wayne will confront a Reds team coming off a 57-38 league win over Whitman (Rushville, NY). The Reds record now stands at 14-4.
The Screaming Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Blue Devils come into the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Mynderse Academy was overwhelmed by Geneva (Geneva, NY), 63-56, in a league battle.
