West Virginia High School Basketball - Nicholas County thwarted by Midland Trail

The Nicholas County Grizzlies basketball team (Summersville, WV), dropped 61-52 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV)

The Patriots now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greater Beckley Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 8. Midland Trail will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 45-31 league loss to James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-5.

The Grizzlies (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against PikeView (Princeton, WV). The Panthers come into the Coalfield AA battle with a 5-9 record.
