Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs (Cowpens, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC), 62-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain View Christian Academy upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Victory Christian Academy won 69-40 in their recent non-league bout against Abundant Life Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC)

Next up, the Sharks play the Abundant Life Christian Academy KNIGHTS (Indian Trail, NC) in a NCCSA A West Region 2 bout, on Thursday, February 8. Shining Light Baptist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The KNIGHTS go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 69-40 non-league loss to Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC).
