Torrington Raiders (Torrington, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT), 73-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Torrington upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Crosby (Waterbury, CT) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Naugatuck Valley 1 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-3.

Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Amistad Wolves (New Haven, CT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Naugatuck will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 55-35 non-league loss to Coventry (Coventry, CT).
