With the victory, Nevada improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Cubs host Perry (Perry, IA) to confront the Bluejays in a Heart of Iowa - Large challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Perry won 55-54 in their recent non-league challenge against South Tama County (Tama, IA)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets (Eddyville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 65-54 non-league loss to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).
