In Tuesday's league outing, the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 80-28.
The Vikings (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the 3A/4A Queen City outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Chambers smashed Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 67-62, in a league outing.
The Hawks now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Huss for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 7. West Mecklenburg will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 62-59 league win over South Point (Belmont, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 8-11.
