The Whitmore Lake Trojans basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Novi Christian Academy Warriors to 42 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manchester for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Whitmore Lake will battle a Flying Dutchmen team coming off a 45-39 league loss to East Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 2-16.

The Warriors (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy (Brighton, MI). The Sentinels come into the Michigan Independent - Red contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy prevailed over Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI), 58-55, in a league contest.
