The Steele Comets basketball team (Amherst, OH), was nudged 56-52 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH)
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avon Lake for a Southwestern battle on Friday, February 9. Olmsted Falls will battle a Shoremen team coming off a 70-57 league loss to Elyria (Elyria, OH). The Shoremen record now stands at 9-8.
The Comets (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Elyria (Elyria, OH). The Pioneers come into the Southwestern battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Elyria edged Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH), 70-57, in a league battle.
