Orange Tornadoes (Orange, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting University Phoenix (Newark, NJ), 90-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Orange upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Verona (Verona, NJ) to clash with the Hillbillies in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Hillbillies go into the bout with a record of 6-15. Verona lost 62-37 in their recent non-league bout against Newark Collegiate Academy (Newark, NJ)

Next up, the Phoenix clash with the Millburn Millers (Millburn, NJ) in a Super Essex - Colonial bout, on Thursday, February 8. University will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Millers go into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 65-49 league win over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ).
