Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waterloo Tigers (Waterloo, NY), 70-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Palmyra-Macedon upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Red Raiders host Newark (Newark, NY) to clash with the Reds in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Reds go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Newark won 55-49 in their recent league bout against Wayne (Ontario Center, NY)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East bout, on Thursday, February 8. Waterloo will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 63-56 league win over Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY).
