Texas High School Basketball - Pewitt nudges Queen City

In Tuesday's league outing, the Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), by a count of 51-50.

The Brahmas (11-18) will now prepare for their outing against Hooks (Hooks, TX). The Hornets go into the 3A Region II District 14 outing with a 26-1 record. In their last outing, Hooks held off New Boston (New Boston, TX), 99-47, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 4-16 record. They play next when they host Atlanta for a 3A Region II District 14 outing on Friday, February 9. Queen City will clash with a Rabbits squad coming off a 62-39 league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Rabbits record now stands at 20-11.
