The Pine Raiders basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Sumner Cowboys to 40 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 17-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Hermon for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Pine will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 70-43 non-league loss to Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-17.
The Cowboys (8-24) will now prepare for their contest against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Swamp Owls enter the non-league contest with a 8-17 record.
