Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Trinity Christian Trojans (Addison, TX), 57-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Prestonwood Christian upgrades its record to 16-13 on the campaign. The Lions host Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX) to play the Panthers in a TAPPS 6A District 1 bout on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 23-9. Parish Episcopal won 64-53 in their recent league bout against Trinity Christian (Addison, TX)

Next up, the Trojans play the Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 1 bout, on Friday, February 9. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 20-13 season record. The Friars come into the bout with a 15-14 record after their 64-61 league loss to John Paul II (Plano, TX).
