Red Hook Raiders (Red Hook, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Red Hook upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY) to clash with the Dukes in a Section 9 Mid Hudson II bout on Friday, February 9. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Marlboro Central won 51-44 in their recent non-league bout against Beacon (Beacon, NY)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County II bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 56-43 league loss to Monticello (Monticello, NY).
