The Rio Grande City Rattlers topped the host Roma Gladiators basketball team by a final score of 57-43 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Rattlers face the Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 game, on Friday, February 9. Rio Grande City will attempt to move on its 21-13 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 23-9 record after their 90-37 league win over Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX).

With the defeat, Roma moves to 3-21 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX) to face the Huskies in a 5A Region IV District 30 game on Friday, February 9. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 2-31. Juarez-Lincoln lost 90-37 in their recent league game against Nixon (Laredo, TX)
