The Rockford Christian Royal Lions basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Winnebago Indians to 50 in the Royal Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royal Lions now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dixon for a Big Northern contest on Friday, February 9. Rockford Christian will meet a Dukes & Duchesses team coming off a 71-47 league win over Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses record now stands at 22-5.

The Indians (9-16) will now prepare for their contest against Dakota (Dakota, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 12-15 record. In their last contest, Dakota ran past Polo (Polo, IL), 61-50, in a non-league contest.
