The Saydel Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting West Marshall Trojans to 47 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasantville for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Saydel will battle a Trojans team coming off a 60-40 league win over Interstate 35 (Truro, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-8.

The Trojans (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, East Marshall ran past AGWSR (Ackley, IA), 75-41, in a league contest.
