The Sioux City East Black Raiders basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Sioux City North Stars to 40 in the Black Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Black Raiders now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Storm Lake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Sioux City East will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 67-43 non-league win over South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Tornadoes record now stands at 11-7.
The Stars (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The Westerners enter the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Akron-Westfield was routed by Hinton (Hinton, IA), 83-61, in a league contest.
