The Walnut Ridge Scots basketball team scored 88 points and held the host West Cowboys to 71 in the Scots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Scots now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a Columbus City - South match on Friday, February 9. Walnut Ridge will meet a 76ers team coming off a 72-40 league loss to South (Columbus, OH). The 76ers record now stands at 0-19.

With the defeat, West moves to 9-11 on the year. The Cowboys host South (Columbus, OH) to meet the Bulldogs in a Columbus City - South match on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 15-3. South won 72-40 in their recent league match against Independence (Columbus, OH)
