New Mexico High School Basketball - Manzano can't hold off Capital

The Capital Jaguars basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Manzano Monarchs to 45 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rio Grande for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Capital will battle a Ravens team coming off a 61-25 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 1-14.
The Monarchs (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Los Lunas nudged Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 48-37, in a non-league contest.
