The Navajo Prep Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Tohatchi Cougars to 52 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thoreau for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Navajo Prep will battle a Hawks team coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Newcomb (Newcomb, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 4-3.

The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record.
