New Mexico High School Basketball - Menaul trounced by Albuquerque Academy

February 6, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87109

The Albuquerque Academy Chargers routed the visiting Menaul Panthers basketball team by a final score of 44-21 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 game, on Friday, February 9. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to move on its 16-5 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 9-12 record after their 70-50 league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).

With the defeat, Menaul moves to 13-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Monte Del Sol Charter (Santa Fe, NM) to face the Dragons in a 2A District 2 game on Thursday, February 8. The Dragons enter the game with a record of 1-19. Monte Del Sol Charter lost 48-2 in their recent league game against Estancia (Estancia, NM)
