The Algona Bulldogs basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS to 45 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eagle Grove for a North Central contest on Saturday, February 10. Algona will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-24 non-league loss to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-23.

The (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura prevailed over Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA), 61-24, in a non-league contest.
