Hillsboro Burros (Nashville, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Antioch Bears (Antioch, TN), 71-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hillsboro upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Burros host McGavock (Nashville, TN) to play the Raiders in a 4A District 11 bout on Friday, February 9. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 16-7. McGavock lost 62-59 in their recent league bout against Cane Ridge (Nashville, TN)

Next up, the Bears play the Overton Bobcats (Nashville, TN) in a 4A District 11 bout, on Friday, February 9. Antioch will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 11-13 record after their 51-19 league win over Hunters Lane (Nashville, TN).
