North Carolina High School Basketball - Forestview overwhelms Ashbrook

February 6, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28054

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) and the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), saw Forestview's basketball squad wallop Ashbrook by a tally of 58-29.

With the victory, Forestview improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to battle the Mountaineers in a 3A Big South battle on Friday, February 9. The Mountaineers come into the battle with a record of 1-17. Kings Mountain lost 38-27 in their recent non-league battle against Shelby (Shelby, NC)

The Greenwave (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats come into the 3A Big South battle with a 4-17 record. In their last battle, North Gaston was overwhelmed by Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC), 41-37, in a league battle.
