The Crater Comets basketball team scored 95 points and held the visiting Ashland Grizzlies to 8 in the Comets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Comets now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Eugene for a 5A Midwestern contest on Friday, February 9. Crater will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 54-37 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-9.
The Grizzlies (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Millers enter the 5A Midwestern contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Springfield triumphed over North Eugene (Eugene, OR), 54-37, in a league contest.
