In Tuesday's league outing, the Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR), by a count of 64-40.

The Fishermen (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Cheesemakers go into the 4A Cowapa outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Tillamook was crushed by Scappoose (Scappoose, OR), 56-45, in a league outing.

The Indians now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to St. Helens for a 4A Cowapa outing on Friday, February 9. Scappoose will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 46-41 league win over Seaside (Seaside, OR). The Lions record now stands at 9-11.
