Eleva-Strum Cardinals (Strum, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Augusta Beavers (Augusta, WI), 55-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eleva-Strum upgrades its record to 5-17 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI) to play the Wildcats in a Dairyland - Large bout on Thursday, February 15. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 7-16.

Next up, the Beavers play the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI) in a Dairyland - Large bout, on Friday, February 9. Augusta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 72-60 league loss to Whitehall (Whitehall, WI).
