In Tuesday's league outing, the Avoyelles Charter Vikings (Mansura, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting Monterey Wolves (Monterey, LA), by a count of 38-34.
The Vikings (12-20) will now prepare for their outing against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 3-16 record. In their last outing, Pineville was tipped by West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 53-33, in a league outing.
The Wolves now hold a 16-10 record. They play next when they travel to Harrisonburg for a B District 5 outing on Friday, February 9. Monterey will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-38 league win over Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-12.
