In Tuesday's league outing, the Creekside Seminoles (Fairburn, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), by a count of 69-31.

The Seminoles (16-7) will now prepare for their outing against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers go into the AAAAA Region 5 outing with a 5-18 record. In their last outing, Chapel Hill smashed Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA), 50-44, in a league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 4-20 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Cities for a AAAAA Region 5 outing on Friday, February 9. Banneker will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 76-44 league loss to Jackson (Atlanta, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-9.
