The Bauxite Miners nipped the visiting Hall Warriors basketball squad by a margin of 53-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Miners (5-19) will now prepare for their test against Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Jackrabbits go into the 4A Region 5 test with a 7-18 record. In their last test, Lonoke was tipped by Barton (Lexa, AR), 58-53, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Heber Springs for a 4A Region 5 test on Friday, February 9. Hall will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 66-30 non-league win over Clarksville (Clarksville, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 19-8.
