With the victory, H-L-V improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA) to confront the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. B-G-M lost 60-36 in their recent league challenge against Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA)

Next up, the Plainsmen confront the GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Belle Plaine will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 48-44 non-league loss to East Marshall (Le Grand, IA).
