With the victory, Bertie improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Falcons host Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Hertford County won 51-36 in their recent league challenge against Camden County (Camden, NC)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) in a 1A Four Rivers challenge, on Friday, February 9. Tarboro will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 71-28 non-league loss to North Pitt (Bethel, NC).
